Are you freaken serious! This book had me in tears! And it was not the happy tears. This book is so sad that it’ll piss you off! Yay for emotions! But honestly this is a great story. I loved diving into the Lore world once again to visit some of my favorite characters. With that said, MacRieve can so suck on a big Popsicle! and choke on it! He is suppose to be the big bad hero but he turns out to be mean, vile, and just overall a horrible creature! Even though he had a rough childhood and faced a great deal of pain, this did not excuse him from his treatment of his SO. His treatment of her is outlandish and horrid! If I were her I would have stabbed him several times over! I’m glad that Chloe is a strong woman who stands up for herself. I think the book would be worse if she was a weak, pushover female. You see, EMOTIONS! This is what this book will do to you! Happy reading my friends.
