My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So if you haven’t read The Book of Ember series it’s a must read! I loved the first book and now the second book is my favorite so far! Again we follow along with Lina and Dune and most of the other Emberites. They come across a city called Sparks. There they find that the people are friendly and charitable. However, the help soon turns into distrust and it’s up to Lina and Dune to set things right.
