This was an interesting read for sure. I couldn’t have imagined the adventures I went on with Kyra and Sebastian. I can’t say more because I don’t like to give out spoilers. However, the twist at the end will leave you wanting more.

Earth Bound (Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart #4)

Earth Bound (Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart, #4)Earth Bound by Christine Feehan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love this book! Lexi is simply an amazing woman who has overcome a horrible past. She’s found her place with her sisters on the farm. Gavriil is just hilarious. Am I the only one who thinks he’s just a big soft teddy bear in a scared up body? His love for Lexi is simply beautiful to watch. This is definitely a story I’ll read over and over again. But be warned it’s not just a simple love story, the action is killer!

Book Summary:
In the bestselling tradition of Brene Brown’s Daring Greatly and Nick Vujicic’s Life Without Limits comes a rousing 7-step plan for living a life on fire, filled with hope and possibility—from an inspirational speaker who survived a near-fatal fire at the age of nine and now runs a successful business inspiring people all around the world.

When John O’Leary was nine years old, he was almost killed in a devastating house fire. With burns on one hundred percent of his body, O’Leary mustered an almost unimaginable amount of inner strength just to survive the ordeal. The insights he gained through this experience and the heroes who stepped into his life to help him through the journey—his family, the medical staff, and total strangers—changed his life. Now he is committed to living life to the fullest and inspiring others to do the same.

An incredible and emotionally honest account of triumph over tragedy, On Fire contains O’Leary’s reflections on being that little boy, the life-giving choices made then, and the resulting lessons he learned. O’Leary very clearly shares that without the right people providing the right guidance, at the right time, he never would have made it through those five months in the hospital, let alone the years that followed as he struggled to regain mobility, embrace his story, and ignite clarity of his life’s purpose.

On Fire encourages us to seize the power to choose our path and transform our lives from mundane to extraordinary. Once we stop thinking solely on the big moments in our lives, we can begin to focus on those smaller opportunities that tend to pass us by. These are the events—the inflection points in our lives—that can determine how we feel about life now, where we are headed in the future, and how many lives we can impact along the way. We can’t always choose the path we walk, but we can choose how we walk it. Empowering, inspiring, remarkably honest, and heartfelt, O’Leary’s strength and incredible spirit shine through on every page.

I couldn’t stop listening to it. I was hooked from the first sentence on! I don’t know if it was the reader, or the story, the characters, or just everything flowed just perfectly. I laughed throughout this story and can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Book Summary:
A Laugh Till It Hurts Literal Leigh Romance Diaries Spin-off
Everyone’s favorite witch, Gertie O’Leary, is back! And she has a story of her own to tell.
“One thing I’ve learned about running a shelter for paranormal creatures, you can’t afford to let your guard down. It all started when I welcomed an enchanting new guest to my plantation. Strange things started to happen. Well, more strange than usual. I was caught off guard by some conflicting feelings and it spurred me on to get Brad, the love of my life, committed. To moving in with me, that is. In any case, I was willing to do whatever it took: love spells, black magic, and something so naughty I’d rather not mention it here. Nothing worked out quite the way I planned and I ended up having to go to hell and back just to save my own self! If it wasn’t for Marie Laveau and the rest of my friends, I wouldn’t be able to share this tale with you in my memoir, Gertie’s Paranormal Plantation.”
